You want the freshest, most flavorful hops available—and for them to be grown sustainably with as little negative impact on the planet as possible.
But, unfortunately, the growing, harvesting, drying, and shipping lifecycle of premiere hops can have a large ecological impact.
That’s where we come in. Sodbuster Farms reduces our environmental impact in all we do, as evidenced by our Salmon Safe certification, which is just one acknowledgement of the measures that we take to ensure our fertile Willamette Valley fields provide healthy yields for generations to come. Sodbuster has been Salmon Safe certified for over ten years.
Salmon-Safe is a PNW-based nonprofit working to transform land management practices so salmon can thrive in west coast watersheds. Salmon-Safe works with West Coast farmers to reduce watershed impacts through rigorous third-party verified certification. Sodbuster Farms first achieved Salmon-Safe certification in 2008, and we’ve prioritized stewarding our land with the health of our watershed and salmon top of mind.
